Over at the Lollipop Ladies, they set a challenge this week with lollipops as the inspiration. Given their lovely name I would have thought that would be the muse for the first challenge lol!
I missed the last challenge. I’m moving house and sometimes I have to get off the computer, or even stop crafting! So I was determined to be in on this one.
Lollipop/ flowers, which I made by rough cutting some circles, distressing them and inking the edges, then placing a little brad in the middle. Rolled some cardstock for the sticks( Stampin Up Kraft), which was hilarious because I’d never done it before and it was harder than I’d thought!! I think I should have gone with a thinner card, but I wanted that colour and was being stubborn 🙂 I used the eyelet border punch on the white because I think it makes it look like a little doily. I love the designer paper which is actually christmas theme I think. I was hard pressed to find a way to put in the cellophane, but eventually decided to wrap the stamped greeting like a lolly. I don’t tend to use bright colours in my projects, but I’m happy with how this came up.
The second challenge is on at The Lollipop Ladies blog. Check it out here.
This is the creation inspiration YUM!
Another scrap page!! I think I’m going to have to buy an album soon.
Challenge this week was;
12×12″ scrapbook page
use 1 photo only
must use stamp set “A happy heart”
use at least 1 patterned paper
1 piece of ribbon
& at least 3 bling rhinestones.
This is my contribution. I’m putting it on here at this ungodly hour(1:30am) because if I wait til later I might want to change it………..for the upteenth time!! Grrr, so for better or worse…………
Challenge #3 I got to set this one hooray 🙂 Though I picked it quite randomly and should have played to my own strengths more lol. It was hard, but I guess where is the challenge in easy?
Use black and blue cardstock, one patterned paper and the Stampin Up stamp set “Enjoy Life” (because I knew we all had that one!)
Joined in a crafting challenge started up by my sister in-law and her lovely cousin. It is great to have something specific to craft to every week, I’m really enjoying it! Seeing what everyone else comes up with is quite fascinating.
Here is my contribution for challenge one
We had to make something using green, pink and red. I used all Stampin Up stuff for this apart from the ribbon and embelishments.
I’m thinking about joining in with this challenge at The Lollipop Ladies.
Create something crafty with this as inspiration.
I have a backlog of other things I’m supposed to be doing, but it could be fun 🙂
